This new residence hall at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln acts as a prominent “gateway” to the southeast corner of campus. It is characterized by an active and visible entry podium on 17th street and reflects the residential character of the Greek/Student neighborhood.
The new five story 191,000 SF residence hall contains 566 beds in two types of units—a 2-double bed semi-suite or a 4-single bed semi-suite. Each residential suite has a living/common space for studying and socializing along with a kitchenette and a private bathroom.
Every floor is divided into two “communities” containing study rooms, laundry rooms and lounges. Common spaces include a convenience store, computer labs, a large multi-purpose room, and a large living room/TV lounge complete with a fireplace.
