UNL Physical Sciences Building

Lincoln, Nebraska

The proposed project will construct a new building for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Physics and Astronomy and also provide coordinated connections for the future Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience addition. This project will replace the outdated and deteriorated space in Behlen, Brace and Ferguson Halls. The new facility will be approximately 100,000 gross square feet. The building will include faculty offices, research offices, research labs, teaching labs, and classrooms. Current construction cost is $28 million and is designed to be LEED Silver certified.
