Norfolk High School

As the result of a District-wide Master Plan prepared by BVH, the Norfolk School District voted to expand and renovate their existing 200,000 SF High School building.
Four areas of the building will receive new additions:
A new front entry (with central security point) will give the building the fresh ‘identity’ that the District requested. The addition will house new administrative offices and a new media center. The media center will be available for community use after school hours, with the updated entrance allowing the school to be secure while the media center is open.
A new entry is being added to the competition gymnasium that exists on the back side of the high school. The addition will house concession areas and public restrooms.
New physical education space is being added to allow space for weight training activities.
A new science wing with teaching labs will be added to the classroom component of the facility.
