Bahr Vermeer Haecker Architects was selected to provide master planning and pre-bond referendum services for an addition to the existing high school. BVH assisted the school district in the successful passage of the bond issue
The project included three separate additions to the existing facility. The additions included a 4,800 sf band room, a 2,857 sf wood shop addition to the vocational education area, and a 43,500 sf athletics and performing arts addition. The spaces within this addition included a new 1,300 seat gymnasium, locker rooms, weight room, and 600 seat auditorium.
Minor remodeling was conducted in the existing building to facilitate new fire sprinklers. The additions were partially constructed while school was in session.
