This Lincoln congregation selected Bahr Vermeer Haecker Architects to program and design a 25,000 square foot worship and education complex. Inspired by Classical Revival detailing, the new addition includes a large narthex that serves as a gathering space and a 700-seat sanctuary that hosts a state of the art acoustical system. New classrooms were built in the lower level beneath the sanctuary. The original sanctuary (built in 1996) was renovated into a meeting space with a serving kitchen for use by church groups and music practice.
