National Park Service Western Historic Trails Center

The National Park Service project included a 423-acre site master plan and 15,000 sf visitor center providing an interpretive facility devoted to the role of the western historic trails system. Project elements include wetland restoration, native prairie simulation, sustainable design objectives, and exhibit design. BVH and specialty consultants provided all required services including site master planning, building design, signage and graphics, cost budgeting, exhibit design, landscape architecture, and civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
