Lincoln Office Builds with the Children's Museum

BVH proudly participated with AIA Lincoln to sponsor and assist with the development of the “KEVA Exhibit’ currently on display at the Lincoln Children’s Museum. The BVH Team consisted of 7 ‘young’ builders who used KEVA planks to recreate the Nebraska State Capital, with assistance from BVHers Cleve Reeves, Dennis Coudriet and Matt Bowers.

When the ribbon cutting took place on March 15, visitors to the Museum saw one of the largest KEVA collections in the world – featuring over 20,000 planks.

However the project began back in late 2006, when Jessica Greenwold, Director of Philanthropy for the Lincoln Children’s Museum, mentioned the concept for the exhibit to BVH Architect Cleve Reeves. Enthused about the idea, Cleve contacted the Lincoln AIA about becoming an active sponsor, and the fund raising process began – ultimately raising more than $5,000 to make this exciting and fun event a reality.
